The Dairy Cottage

A delightful  luxury  semi-detached stone  barn conversion on the farm. There is a a good size rear patio area with table and seating, also suitable for children to play in. Farm play field with goal posts & swings.    Approx 5 minutes stroll over  to  the farmís 2 ponds. One pond (approx 66 yards long) was restocked with coarse fish during 2010 (tench,golden rudd & carp). Tench  up to 3 lbs and carp up to 10 lbs. The second pond dates back to mediaeval times and was originally used as a carp pond by monks in the 12th cenrtury and is one of the oldest  carp ponds in the country (featured on a T.V. programme). The pond has now been set aside as a nature sanctuary and migratory birds including ducks commonly make an appearance. The ponds are in a pretty, wooded setting, making a great venue for picnics, fishing, or just to enjoy the scenery.  The more energetic may enjoy the walk across the adjacent field (with panoramic views over the countryside)  along the footpath through the farmís 13 acres of woodland.
The first bedroom  1 has 1 double bed  & en-suite shower room with shower, washbasin & toilet & T.V.  The second bedroom   has 2 single beds. The third bedroom  has 2 single beds.  Also a bathroom with bath,  overhead shower, toilet and washbasin. A very spacious downstairs open plan area. In the  kitchen area is an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer,washing machine & dishwasher. The lounge/dining area now has a widescreen T.V. & DVD.  The cottage is very easy to keep warm with wall mounted electric radiators throughout  including the bedrooms. In addition there is a feature woodburner electric fire in lounge area. For parking there is adjacent  off  the  parking space for 3 cars. No pets please.
